About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Manager to join our innovative team in a full-time, in-house position (Monday-Friday). This role is perfect for someone with a strong passion for advancing mobile and web technologies. As an IT Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Design & Development team to oversee the hosting, maintenance, security, and enhancement of our technology platforms. Your expertise will span a range of technologies, including open-source Linux, WordPress, PHP, Apache, MySQL, Node.js, WP Engine, Nextiva, and LiquidWeb, among others. Responsibilities:

  • Regularly assess and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Oversee daily IT department operations, including the management of platforms such as WP Engine, LiquidWeb, and AWS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, including performance and site speed concerns.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and procedures to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Safeguard company and customer data through encryption, secure storage solutions, and other cybersecurity practices.
  • Lead the installation and configuration of new hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client services, sales, and creative departments, to support IT-related initiatives and ensure seamless operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Background in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Information Technology (IT).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields is preferred.
  • Proven experience with WordPress required.
  • Familiarity with WP Engine and LiquidWeb hosting platforms is highly desired.
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting environments, particularly AWS, is preferred.
  • Expertise in hosting and managing website environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
