How to Set Up a Free HubSpot CRM in 3 Minutes

What’s going on, guys! Happy Wednesday. I’m going to start right off by apologizing for the audio. I’m not using the microphone today because we’re doing a quick little tutorial here. My apologies.

Today I’m going to show you how to create a free CRM through HubSpot. It’s actually super easy. I don’t anticipate this to be a really long video. I do want to talk about the benefits really quick.

The Benefits of HubSpot CRM

If you’re a business that doesn’t currently use CRM, HubSpot is a great one to get into. It’s user-friendly and has everything that you need. HubSpot CRM is also very customizable and free, so there’s a lot you can do there. If you feel like upgrading in the long term, there are additional things you can do on the sales or marketing side and different packages you can choose from. If you currently use a CRM, I’ve personally found that HubSpot is better than many CRMs out there.

Salesforce is really good too. HubSpot and Salesforce are the top two in my book. Let’s dig into it!

Setting Up Your Free Hubspot CRM

I pre-loaded a step here where I already searched for HubSpot CRM on Google, but that’s all you got to do. Type “HubSpot CRM” in and click on the first result “Free CRM for Small Businesses.”

Beautiful day in Chicago by the way! It doesn’t happen often, especially this year

Next, you’re going to click on the CTA “Get Free CRM”—by the way, orange CTAs have been studied to be the highest click-through rate and conversion.  So, I recommend orange CTAs when you can. Alright, I’ve already got a user here, otherwise, you would create a new user account. I’m going to continue with my user. Please don’t send me spam emails (I know you got my email now). Because I already have an account, it’s going to give me the option to continue with my Youtech account, view another account or create a new account—which is what I want to do.

So, I’m clicking “New Account” and it’s going to ask me for a website URL. In this instance, I’m going to use https://www.youcruut.com, which is our new partner. It’s a recruiting firm, so check that out on your own—It’s a beautiful site. I really like it.

How many people work at your company?

… We’re still pretty small right now.

What field do you work in?

… Marketing.

Which of the following best describes your role?

… I’m the director manager.

I complete the signup and—whoa—my HubSpot account is ready! It’s going to have this little tutorial here where you can go through different things. It’s got all different kinds of texts, articles, and videos as well. If you skip to “Getting Started”, it’ll show your progress levels thus far.

Even More Benefits

You’re already a 9% just by creating the account and then you can learn all about HubSpot. You can see a slideshow, read the FAQ, all the different tasks to do next. You can put contacts in here and install the HubSpot sales extension—that one’s great. You can connect your inbox as well, so all communication between you and other people is stored within their contact information on HubSpot. You can always look back at that.  You can also connect your cell phone number and call people directly through HubSpot.

So those are just a few of the ways. If you’re doing any kind of marketing stuff, you can hook your forums up to HubSpot and have all that data automatically pushed in the HubSpot when people fill out a form. Then you’ll have their contact information stored there too. It’s very easy to pull reports—super user-friendly. It’s very easy to tell what’s going on in them too. I highly recommend it.

That’s how you set up a HubSpot CRM!

Happy Wednesday.
